REACH Declaration

REACH is the abbreviation for Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and restriction of CHemicals.

The targets of the European REACH regulation (CE 1907/2006) are:

  • to minimize influence of chemicals on human health
  • to have a high level of environment protection
  • to promote the development of safer substances
REACH defines a new framework in which the manufacturers have to prove that the produced substances are safe.
In the future the imported and manufactured substances in the European Union can only be used when they have been registered by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) in Helsinki.
The most dangerous substances, so named substances of “very high concern”, will have to be submitted to an authorization procedure.

Hager has already started all necessary actions to be in conformity with the requirements of the regulation. You can download our declaration.
